Information for Prospective Undergraduate Nursing Students

Please read and carefully follow the guidance below.

  1. If you are considering a Bachelors degree in Nursing, attend one of the Preadmissions Information Sessions for Undergraduate Programs designed specifically for prospective BSN students. Sequoia/Cañada BSN sessions will occur in the spring and fall. Regular BSN and APO (RN-BSN) sessions will occur in the fall during the months of September, October, and November. View the News & Events calendar on this page for upcoming dates.
  2. Review the information provided by SFSU for all prospective students.
  3. Read the Nursing Program Information for the program that applies to you.
  4. If you are considering applying to the BSN program, review the new requirements and curriculum on the updated BSN Fact Sheet.
  5. If you are considering applying to our APO program, please review the Fact Sheet.
